Google Sync struggling to pushing Gmail to iPhone?

Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Sync recently rolled out documentation for pushing Gmail documentation on the iPhone. The iPhone community raised their custody in celebration and proceeded to flood Google’s Gmail servers with emails that were expected to push, in real-meter, to the iPhone. But, going on comments left field by users on Google’s web log and Twitter posts, some users ar run into problems with Google Sync’s new push Gmail overhaul. The Silicon Alley Insider posits that not even the mighty Google was prepared for the attack of iPhone traffic brought on by the launching of pushing Gmail. AT&T (NYSE: T), sure, but Google struggling under iPhone pressure? Color us surprised.

There ar reports of emails not push, emails being delayed and email sync features not working correctly. I just tested my iPhone’s Gmail frame-up and I can say that emails were pushed to my push Gmail history with less than a five second base delay. Google Sync seems to be working fine for me.
