Layar was 1 pretty snazzy augmented reality app fro Android we’ve seen recently, but IBM is workings on another called Seer. As you tin see from the demo video recording, is more or less the same sort of thing: an effigy generated from the earphone’s photographic camera is overlaid with contextual information based on GPS coordinates. Filters like “restaurants” or “parallel bars” tin shave down what’s organism shown. They’ve got some aplomb chirrup integration so any tags you pull up tin pulling up the latest geotagged tweet from the event. Live consequence information like lucifer schedules will also be included on the rag. If you happen to be into tennis and attending Wimbledon, you can pick up Seer here once the event begins next week.
