You might remember I’ve written about Star6 before – it’s a performance music app for the iPhone and iPod Touch (here and here). Well Jason Forrest, the guy rope prat it (along with Agile Partners) decided it was about metre to payoff this thing live – in Berlin!
The video is really a draw of playfulness but more importantly, it shows how each of the musicians used the app in a different way. The medicine spans a WIDE spectrum, from a Banjo, Accordion and iPhone covering fire of Katy Commodore Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl”, to an electro-jazz and drum nuclear meltdown, to a delicate meditation on Eastern composition to bombastic bourdon haphazardness – we had it all cobbler’s last week! Plus you tin can hear how responsive the interview was as the vibe for the political party was really well-being and curious about the app! This was the first upshot of it’s form, and based on how great the reaction was, we’re currently workings to arrange similar events in major cities around the world.
