Savant has been selling an iPhone app called Rosie since shoemaker’s last Sep that allows users to command just about all things electronic in the theater: lighting, security, and home entertainment. By combination a computer hardware hub at habitation with a monitoring host, subscribers tin remotely controller many functions, like security measures (cameras), climate (A/C and furnace), and entertainment (TV and stereo). While that’s a little swanky for a buck private residency, I could see tons of solid commercial applications for something as unified and mobile as Rosie. Savant’s app is a little priey at $49.99, and you need to have the topical anaesthetic hardware exercise set up as wellspring, but Canadians can get downloading in the iTunes App Store over here, or checkout out a video demonstration here.
