AT&T resumes online iPhone gross sales in NYC
Mon, Dec 28, 2009
Well look at that. Almost as soon as the blogosphere started to speculate that AT&T (NYSE: T)’s temporary removal of online iPhone gross sales for the New York City metro expanse was an attack to manage 3G information traffic, AT&ere;T has pulled an about-facing and resumed online iPhone sales for New Yorkers. Entering an NYC ZIP code previously returned a “sorry, this gimmick is not available in your ZIP computer code,” but now works without a hitch.
One AT&T customer overhaul example claimed that AT&T had halted gross sales through its website because the metropolis just didn’t have enough electric cell towers, while another rep claimed that fraud was to rap. AT&ere;T’s functionary reaction to us stated that “we periodically modify our promotions and dispersion channels. The iPhone is available in our New House of York retail stores and those of our partners.” Whatever the real reason, it’s just good to see online gross sales backrest in full swing for The Big Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)!
