Avenir Telecom wins O2’s prestigious partner of the class awarding

Avenir Telecom has announced it has been awarded ‘Partner of the Year’ by O2 (New York Stock Exchange: TEF) (in the UK). O2 has named Avenir as the best UK distributor across not unity but four KPIs: gross connections, secondary coil connections, ARPU, and customer churn.

On circus tent of this, Avenir has scooped O2’s ‘Champions League’ awarding – which measures sales levels across all UK distributors – for Q3 2009. Having previously North Korean won in the first base and second base quarter, it has therefore been crowned boilersuit achiever for 2009.

‘Partner Of The Year’ is the latest in a string of awards O2 has bestowed on Avenir Telecom in recent weeks. On 01 Dec it was announced that the distributor is outselling its rivals on landline gross sales as part of O2’s Joined Up first step (which I reported on here). On 20 November it was revealed that, in the previous calender month, Avenir and its dealer pedestal had reduced customer butter churn on O2 connections to 8% – believed to be the lowest sustainable design achieved by any distributor of Avenir’s size of it in the UK mobile marketplace (again, covered here).
