I presume you know how barcode scanning apps work, so I won’t go into inside information. I’ll only passing along NeoMedia chief executive officer, Iain McCready’s words: “Bringing the NeoReader to the high growth Android platforms brings us ever closer to bulk marketplace borrowing of 2D barcodes. Android’s commitment to the OHA (surface handset confederation) matches NeoMedia’s own objective of achieving open standards in ordering to thrust rapid market emergence and consumer adoption. With the ubiquitousness of the mobile web and the overplus of emergent mobile engineering applications, there has never been a better meter to get involved in this exciting marketplace.”

The diligence is distillery not in the Android Market (coming soon), hence to snap it – you’ll have to visit get.neoreader.com in your mobile browser, and the Android version volition automatically download to compatible handsets.
