Who says Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Pre tin’t follow iPhone with the “there’s an app for that” mantra. Take PEPID, developer of clinical determination-support selective information and engineering for doctors and nurses (i.e. quite specific marketplace), which has released its webOS app.
I’m not sure I fully understand what PEPID does, hence here’s an excerpt from the pressure liberation doing all the explaining instead of me:
PEPID’s reputable clinical and pharmacological content is designed to support clinicians through every leg of the decision documentation procedure, from the initial content, all the means through handling and follow-up maintenance – increasing affected role safety through bettor-informed patient care. PEPID contains the most extensive drug database on the marketplace today, thousands of disease profiles and health check conditions, health check and dosing calculators, a drug interactions checker, along with numerous illustrations, laboratory values, and a differential diagnosing source, all available on the Palm Pre.
What’s more, PEPID also announced that their next platform to conquer is Android. Kinda strange selection, as we usually see companies releasing an Android prior to webOS variant. iPhone and BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) apps ar already available…
