Truphone has announced a strategic MVNO partnership with Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) UK. The agreement will spring Truphone approach to Vodafone UK’s net to deliver part and information services to its Truphone Local Anywhere customers.
The partnership is apparently the first base in a series of construction blocks for the launching of Truphone Local Anywhere, a global SIM-based mobile overhaul, from Truphone that allows users to shuffle and receive calls via a local anesthetic figure and at a local price, in any Truphone nation. The overhaul will also offer number portability, so customers will be able to transfer existing mobile numbers across to the Truphone Local Anywhere overhaul.
Using Truphone’s patented base and IN sum net the Truphone Local Anywhere SIM allows customers to enjoy local rates in countries where Truphone has wholesale partnerships and also have the option of having local mobile numbers pool for those countries all on a single SIM. For those countries where Truphone does not have hustler agreements, Truphone Local Anywhere offers significant nest egg over normal roaming charges.
Under the agreement, Truphone will rich person approach to Vodafone’s net – substance that calls made by Truphone customers in the UK, as well as Truphone Local Anywhere roaming calls originating and terminating in the UK, will be delivered via the Vodafone UK network.
