Lone-Star State Instruments delivers chipset with quadrangle-radio documentation

Texas Instruments has unveiled its WiLink 7.0 single-chipping solution, the industry’s first oblation to integrate WLAN 802.11n, GPS, FM transmit/receive and Bluetooth technologies. Integrating these capabilities on a true single chip, the 65-nanometer WiLink 7.0 answer reduces costs by 30 percentage and is able to reduce the chipset size by 50 percentage. The WiLink 7.0 answer will be showcased during Mobile World United States Congress 2010 in the TI cubicle (8A84, Asaph Hall 8).

“As the first troupe to put the might of Global Positioning System, WLAN, Bluetooth and FM technologies on a single chip, we ar excited to have solved some of the market’s most complex coexistence challenges,” said Haviv Ilan, frailty president and general coach, radio connectivity solutions, TI. “This character of origination builds on our strong inheritance in the radio marketplace and commitment to spearpoint next-multiplication advancements. With its ability to documentation simultaneous use of all quaternion radios, the WiLink 7.0 solution will truly revolutionize the means citizenry interact with their devices and connect to the larger worldly concern.”
